11 December: The Bursledon Brickworks.

8 January: Sacrifice and Remembrance.

12 February: The History of Fort Nelson and the Palmerston Forts.

11 March: A speaker from Wessex Archaeology on a topical subject.

8 April - evening meeting at 7:30pm: The Royal Palace at Clarendon, Salisbury.

  1. Next Event

Our next, and last, summer visit of 2024 is to Breamore House, on Weds 4th September. NB: Please make your own arrangements regarding transport, we are not using a coach for this visit.

Breamore House is an Elizabethan Mansion completed in 1583, and is noted for the fine collection of paintings and furniture. The tour starts at 2:00 pm for about one hour; the cost will be £9.50. Refreshments will be available to purchase at the cafeteria.

Bookings close on: 28th August. Currently fully booked, waiting list in operation.
